What is a Health Coach?

As a health coach, I partner with clients looking for lasting change in their health and well being. The client sets the goal, and it’s my job to help provide guidance to meet that goal. Some areas of a healthy lifestyle that are usually discussed include: nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress- reduction.

Will you tell me which diet to follow?

No. There is no one diet that is perfect for everyone. What I will do is ask you what kind of foods you like, and together we can come up with strategies for increasing healthier options, and decreasing less than healthy options. We will work together to discover a healthier approach to eating that will ideally last a lifetime.

Will you give me an exercise plan?

If you would like an exercise plan, then I can help design one for you. As with diet, there is no one physical activity that is right for everyone. The most important factor is that we find something you enjoy doing.
